About Diane Seif
After more than 20 years of working in a variety of research and management positions with Marion Laboratories, the entrepreneurial spirit of Ewing Kauffman is bound to rub off. Following in the footsteps of Kauffman, her mentor, in 2006, Diane founded DVA Enterprises.
As president and CEO of DVA Enterprises, Diane’s experience stems from launching, operating and selling a pharmaceutical consulting contract research organization, RxCCI, which specialized in worldwide pharmaceutical, life science and medical device research. Under her leadership, in a short time, the company sales grew from $1.2 million to $15 million.
In recognition of her business acumen, Diane was selected as a national finalist in the 2003 Entrepreneur of the Year award program sponsored by Ernst & Young and USA Today. RxCCI was a top 10 finalist for three consecutive years (2002 – 2004) and was often named by Ingram’s Magazine as one of the top 25 women-owned businesses in Kansas City.
In 2005, Diane sold RxCCI to a global leader in the pharmaceutical and life science field. Ready for a new challenge, in 2006, Diane and her husband Vince launched DVA Enterprises to assist, mentor and inspire emerging entrepreneurs.
